Purpose
General
Objectives
Key results
To provide support to the Credit Management Department
To learn every aspect of Accounts Receivable, Cash Management and, the basic
concepts of Customer Account Management
To actively contribute to the monthly cash collection target
Main tasks & Duties
Admin
 Prepare cash sheets by reconciling bank statement in line with current SLA’s
 Provide admin support when needed to the CAM Team
 Post payments from cash sheets onto correct account and reconcile properly advising the relevant
CAM when a payment cannot be properly allocated
 Assist in processing new account applications, open new accounts on Charisma system
 Support the Cash and Credit Note Teams as required
Credit Management
 Provide holiday/additional cover for accounts managed by CAM’s
 Contact customers by telephone, fax, email, SMS or any other means to ensure payment is received on
or before the due date
 Manage all queries or reasons for payment being delayed relating to the accounts and escalate
difficult issues to your Supervisor/Manager for assistance
 Develop relationships with internal and external customers
o Internal- Telesales, Field Sales, Quality Control, Operations, Drivers
o External- Assigned accounts
 All other Tasks & Duties as required by the Company
Performance measures within the company are Cash Collected (Monthly and financial year), Customer
Retention and Sales Growth.

Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
From time to time additional/abnormal working patterns may be required which will
be agreed in advance
Tea break every morning for 15 minutes + 1 hour lunch break between 1 & 2pm

As agreed on commencement of employment plus
An Admin Function bonus scheme of £1,440
Effective April 2016
Promotion/Development
The current promotion prospect for this role is to Customer Account Controller or Manager (CAM) including
Senior CAM, Team Leader, Deputy Credit Manager, Credit & AR Manager and Head of Credit & Risk.
There may also be opportunities to develop specialist knowledge in Litigation, Insolvency, Risk Analysis and
other areas of Credit Management
