We are currently looking for a dedicated
Business Intelligence Developer (m/f)
who can join us in Frankfurt am Main as soon as possible.
You contribute decision-supporting analyses in business intelligence (BI) solutions of Deutsche Bahn and
are responsible for implementing SAP BO, SAP BW/BI, TM1, Microsoft SharePoint and/or Oracle/Hyperion.
You are a data specialist who helps us to enhance our competitive advantages in the field of thorough data
analysis. Technical expertise in relational and multidimensional database schemata is second nature to you.
You solve real-world business problems with a certain amount of individual freedom by designing and
creating OLAP (online analytical processing) cubes, applying data mining algorithms, writing requests and
producing reports. Your responsibilities range from merging data from numerous sources in an efficient data
warehouse to designing solutions at company level for large, multidimensional databases. Your tasks also
include optimising the data management performance of BI systems.
Your profile:
 Completed course of IT or information systems, or a comparable qualification
 At least three years of professional experience in development projects for business intelligence
solutions
 Relevant experience in business intelligence and data warehouse projects
 Certification as a Certified Business Intelligence Professional or evidence of a similar qualification
preferred
 Extensive practical experience with business intelligence products, including SAP BO, BI/BW, TM1, MS
SharePoint and Oracle/Hyperion
 Good knowledge of software engineering methods (process modelling with ARIS, OOA/OOD and UML),
software development tools, Java programming, script languages, SQL or PL/SQL, relational and
multidimensional databases, as well as XML
 Good command of written and spoken English
 German skills preferred
 Strong customer orientation
 Good communicative and analytical skills
 High level of dedication and willingness to assume responsibility
 Team-oriented approach to activities
