CO2 cascade 2...380 kW CASCADE TECHNOLOGY UP TO 53 BAR Do you want an environmentally friendly alternative for your low temperature applications? Then choose POLAROX and rely on the natural refrigerant CO2. POLAROX can be combined with any medium temperature unit e. g. R 134a, propane or ammonia. The cascade system technology from TEKO offers you huge efficiency advantages. You can now make use of these in small output ranges as well as in big ones (2...380 kW). 2 Cascade technology. Cost savings. • • Short piping routes lead to small refrigerant charges. Thus a considerably smaller and therefore cheaper condenser is used compared to an air-cooled low temperature unit. Alternatively, we can also supply a combined, interconnected and completely piped medium and low temperature refrigeration unit. (Example image R 134a / R 744) Heat recovery. The waste heat from refrigeration can be used in a much more targeted and effective manner in an „overall” system. Heat output is significantly higher in combination with the cascade unit POLAROX. Environmentally conscious. • • You opt for a future-proof system that uses the natural refrigerant CO2. You avoid unnecessary electricity consumption by saving an air-cooled discharge gas desuperheater. Efficiency-raising. High medium temperature evaporating temperatures up to 0 °C prevent energy loss, which impacts positively on the overall system.
