Life Saver Ministries
11/27/2016
Gloversville, NY
Director: Abbey Ballard
Their Ministry:
Giving the Gospel and counseling women
with unplanned or difficult pregnancies.
People to Pray for:
Pray for baby Ava, who was born at 23 weeks gestational age. Pray for her physical
care, and that her parents will come to a saving knowledge of Christ.
Pray for a young mom who was diagnosed with cancer weeks after she found out
she was pregnant with her second child. Pray that God will guard the life and
eternity of this precious child, and for strength for mom.
Pray for Rayna, who was in an abusive relationship and is expecting her 4th child.
Pray for protection for them, and for God to change her husband’s heart.

When we walk with the Lord
In the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will,
He abides with us still,
And with all who will
trust and obey.
Trust and obey,
For there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.
Not a shadow can rise,
Not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away;
Not a doubt or a fear,
Not a sigh or a tear,
Can abide while we trust and obey.
Trust and obey,
For there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.
Not a burden we bear,
Not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss,
Not a frown or a cross,
But is blest if we trust and obey.
Trust and obey,
For there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.
But we never can prove
The delights of His love,
Until all on the altar we lay;
For the favor He shows,
And the joy He bestows,
Are for them who will trust and obey.
Trust and obey,
For there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.

1 John 2:16
For all that is in the world
the desires of the flesh and the
desires of the eyes and pride of life
is not from the Father
but is from the world.
1 John 2:16
Pg. 151
A mighty fortress is our God,
A bulwark never failing;
Our helper He amid the flood
Of mortal ills prevailing:
For still our ancient foe
Doth seek to work us woe
His craft and power are great,
And armed with cruel hate,
On earth is not his equal.
Did we in our own strength confide,
Our striving would be losing,
Were not the right man on our side,
The man of God’s own choosing.
Dost ask who that may be?
Christ Jesus, it is He
Lord Sabaoth His name,
From age to age the same,
And He must win the battle.
And tho’ this world,
with devils filled,
Should threaten to undo us,
We will not fear, for God hath willed
His truth to triumph through us.
The prince of darkness grim,
We tremble not for him
His rage we can endure,
For lo, his doom is sure:
One little word shall fell him
That word above all earthly powers,
No thanks to them abideth;
The Spirit and the gifts are ours
Through Him who with us sideth.
Let goods and kindred go,
This mortal life also
The body they may kill;
God’s truth abideth still:
His kingdom is forever.

There is Love, that came for us.
Humbled to a sinner’s cross.
You broke my shame,
and sinfulness.
You rose again victorious.
Faithfulness none can deny.
Through the storm,
and through the fire.
There is truth that sets me free.
Jesus Christ who lives in me.
You are stronger.
You are stronger.
Sin is broken,
You have saved me.
It is written, Christ is risen.
Jesus You are Lord of all.
No beginning, and no end.
You’re my hope,
and my defense.
You came to seek,
and save the lost.
You paid it all, upon the cross.
You are stronger.
You are stronger.
Sin is broken,
You have saved me.
It is written, Christ is risen.
Jesus You are Lord of all.

1 Peter 4:1-6
Since therefore Christ suffered in
the flesh, arm yourselves with the
same way of thinking, for whoever
has suffered in the flesh has ceased
from sin,
so as to live for the rest of the time
in the flesh no longer for human
passions but for the will of God.
For the time that is past suffices for
doing what the Gentiles want to do,
living in sensuality, passions,
drunkenness, orgies, drinking
parties, and lawless idolatry.
With respect to this they are
surprised when you do not join
them in the same flood
of debauchery, and they malign
you; but they will give account to
him who is ready to judge the living
and the dead.
For this is why the gospel was
preached even to those who are
dead, that though judged in the
flesh the way people are, they
might live in the spirit
the way God does.
1 Peter 4:1-6

You are beautiful
beyond description,
Too marvelous for words;
Too wonderful for comprehension,
Like nothing ever seen or heard.
Who can grasp Your
infinite wisdom?
Who can fathom the
depth of Your love?
You are beautiful
beyond description,
majesty enthroned above.
And I stand, I stand in awe of You,
I stand, I stand in awe of You;
Holy God, to whom all praise is
due, I stand in awe of You.

Four truths every Christian must know:
1. You are in a battle for truth and
righteousness.
1 John 3:9-12
We should not be like Cain, who was of
the evil one and murdered his brother.
And why did he murder him? Because his
own deeds were evil and his brother’s
righteous. Do not be surprised, brothers,
that the world hates you.
John 8:39-47
“If you were Abraham’s children, you
would be doing the works Abraham did,
but now you seek to kill me, …It is because
you cannot bear to hear my word. 44You
are of your father the devil, and your will
is to do your father’s desires. …Whoever is
of God hears the words of God. The reason
why you do not hear them is that you are
not of God.”
Ephesians 2:1-3
And you were dead in the trespasses and
sins in which you once walked, following
the course of this world, following the
prince of the power of the air, the spirit
that is now at work in the sons of
disobedience— among whom we all once
lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying
out the desires of the body and the mind,
and were by nature children of wrath,
like the rest of mankind.
Four truths every Christian must know:
1. You are in a battle for truth and
righteousness.
2. Your obedience in suffering matters.
1 Peter 1:2
according to the foreknowledge of God the
Father, in the sanctification of the Spirit, for
obedience to Jesus Christ and for
sprinkling with his blood:
1 Peter 1:14-17
As obedient children, do not be conformed to
the passions of your former ignorance, but as
he who called you is holy, you also be holy in
all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall
be holy, for I am holy.” And if you call on him
as Father who judges impartially according to
each one’s deeds, conduct yourselves with
fear throughout the time of your exile,
1 Peter 1:22
Having purified your souls by your
obedience to the truth for a sincere
brotherly love, love one another earnestly
from a pure heart,
1 Peter 2:1-3
So put away all malice and all deceit and
hypocrisy and envy and all slander. Like
newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual
milk, that by it you may grow up into
salvation— if indeed you have tasted that
the Lord is good.
1 Peter 2:11,12
Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles
to abstain from the passions of the flesh,
which wage war against your soul. Keep
your conduct among the
Gentiles honorable
1 Peter 4:17
For it is time for judgment to begin at the
household of God; and if it begins with us,
what will be the outcome for those who do
not obey the gospel of God?
1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen race, a royal
priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his
own possession, that you may proclaim the
excellencies of him who called you out of
darkness into his marvelous light.
1 Peter 2:12
Keep your conduct among the Gentiles
honorable, so that when they speak against
you as evildoers, they may see your good
deeds and glorify God on the day of
visitation.
1 Peter 2:15
For this is the will of God, that by doing
good you should put to silence the
ignorance of foolish people.
1 Peter 3:1-2
Likewise, wives, be subject to your own
husbands, so that even if some do not obey
the word, they may be won without a
word by the conduct of their wives, when
they see your respectful and pure conduct.
1 Peter 3:15
but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as
holy, always being prepared to make a
defense to anyone who asks you for a
reason for the hope that is in you;
Four truths every Christian must know:
1. You are in a battle for truth and
righteousness.
2. Your obedience in suffering matters.
3. Christ’s death has changed sin’s
power. (4:1-4)
Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no
longer I who live, but Christ who lives in
me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live
by faith in the Son of God, who loved me
and gave himself for me.
Four truths every Christian must know:
1. You are in a battle for truth and
righteousness.
2. Your obedience in suffering matters.
3. Christ’s death has changed sin’s
power. (4:1-4)
4. God will vindicate your faithfulness.
(4:5-6)
Hebrews 9:27
And just as it is appointed for man to die
once, and after that comes judgment
Matthew 25:41
“Then he will say to those on his left,
‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the
eternal fire prepared for the devil
and his angels.
Matthew 25:46
And these will go away into eternal
punishment, but the righteous
into eternal life.”
Thessalonians 1:9
They will suffer the punishment of eternal
destruction, away from the presence of the
Lord and from the glory of his might,
Jude 1:7
just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the
surrounding cities, which likewise indulged
in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural
desire, serve as an example by undergoing
a punishment of eternal fire.
Jude 1:13
wild waves of the sea, casting up the foam
of their own shame; wandering stars, for
whom the gloom of utter darkness has
been reserved forever.
Hebrews 6:2
instruction about cleansing rites, the laying
on of hands, the resurrection of the dead,
and eternal judgment.
Applications
1. Know: Know your suffering is normal your
obedience matters.
2. Feel: Feel courageous in your suffering armed
with the mind of Christ.
3. Do: Commit to standing firm in truth and
obedience
Oh, the depth of the riches, the
wisdom of God
How unsearchable are His ways.
How profound are his judgments,
so high above our thoughts, And
His pathways no man can trace.
For from Him and through Him,
And to Him are all things!
To Him be glory forevermore!
To Him be glory forever!
Amen! Amen! Amen!
Oh, the depth of the riches, the
wisdom of God
How magnificent are His ways.
Who has been His advisor And
who has counselled Him,
All He gives us who can repay?
For from Him and through Him,
And to Him are all things!
To Him be glory forevermore!
To Him be glory forever!
Amen! Amen! Amen!
Oh the depths of the riches, the
wisdom of God
How immeasurable is His grace!
How unfailing His kindness, so far
removed His wrath,
And His mercies are
new each day!
For from Him and through Him,
And to Him are all things!
To Him be glory forevermore!
To Him be glory forever!
Amen! Amen! Amen!
