Student Ambassador Contract
As a Student Ambassador, I agree to meet the following expectations:





Contribute significantly to running activities during O Week
Share my university experiences with future students at Open Day
Organise and event manage two events each semester to help students transition to
university life and learning, and transition out into the work place
Contribute regularly to the Ambassador and campus Facebook pages
Assist with marketing initiatives by positively representing the Faculty of Education
As a Student Ambassador, I agree to attend the following compulsory events:

Ambassador Leadership Day
Saturday, 26 July 2014

Monash University Open Day
Saturday, 2 August 2014 (Berwick or Peninsula) or
Sunday, 3 August 2014 (Clayton)

Ambassador Development Day
and Thank You Function
Monday, 24 November 2014

O Week 2015
23-27 February 2015
As a Student Ambassador, I will receive:




Training in transferable skills at Ambassador Leadership/Development Days, followed by
the opportunity for hands-on application
Free access to professional development workshops and training sessions provided by
Monash University and external providers
A Faculty of Education ‘shiraz’ polo shirt, lanyard and name badge
A certificate of appreciation from the Dean at the end-of-year function
I understand that I may be excluded from further participation in the Student
Ambassador Program if any of the following conditions occur:



I fail one or more of my units
I do not meet the expectations of the program, as listed above
I choose not to attend compulsory events, as listed above
