Tim Kuberski Named New SWJPCC Associate Editor Infectious
Disease
The Southwest Journal of Pulmonary and Critical Care is pleased to announce
Tim Kuberski MD as a new associate editor for infectious disease. Dr. Kuberski is
a board certified Infectious Diseases specialist. He has a well rounded career in
the field of Infectious Diseases. He has done bench research for the National
Institutes of Health, field studies as an epidemiologist on tropical disease for the
South Pacific Commission and a clinician doing private practice in Arizona. In
2007 he was selected as Clinician of the Year by the Infectious Diseases Society
of America. He is currently Chief of Infectious Diseases at Maricopa County
Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
Breathing in America: Diseases, Progress and Hope
The Arizona Thoracic Society has obtained multiple copies of the ATS
publication “Breathing in America: Diseases, Progress and Hope” edited by Dean
Schraufnagel. This is a book with concise chapters that cover much of pulmonary
disease. These will be brought to the next Arizona Thoracic meeting and
distributed on a first come, first serve basis.
