Procedure to Copy Report Cards from one district to another district? Article # 1521 Procedure to Copy Report Cards from one district to another district? Procedure This Report Card Copy utility will copy report cards. The copied report card will be set to inactive to prevent teachers from seeing it before it is ready to be used. If the report card is copied to a different district, the school and grade level information will have to be manually updated. The assessment mark types and grading scales may also need to be updated. Instructions 1. Download a. Connect to your SQL Server. b. Copy ReportCardCopy_AcrossDistricts.ZIP from the Software Answers downloads location to a temporary directory on the server. The file can be found HERE c. Extract the files to a desired location on the server. An example is: C:\Program Files\Software Answers\Report Card Copy. 2. Create a DSN on the SQL Server a. Create a system DSN on the SQL Server if one does not already exist. b. Name it pb_master. c. Point it to the pb_master database. Double click on the ReportCardCopy.exe application from the directory described in step 1.c. (If you kept the default settings, it will be in C:\Program Files\Software Answers\Report Card Copy.) b.
