Wireless Configuration

Download driver from the link above
 If prompted, please Save as the driver is a compressed file that will need to be
uncompressed/unzipped
 Please save file to a location to where you are able to easily access
( if saved and unsure of where the download saved to, please check
the Downloads folder as it is generally the default location )
Right click on the compress folder and choose the option to Extract or Extract All to
extract the compressed folder
 Default location of where the folder extracts to is generally to the same
location the downloaded compress folder is within
** NOTE: Please ensure the printer USB cable is not connected to the PC until prompted **
Run the Setup executable and from the install prompt, click on Install.
Choose the Language and click on Next.
Choose the BMP61 and click on Next
Connect the printer USB cable to the BMP61 and PC.
Please Window prompt finish running before clicking on Next
The installer should verify/check connection status
If successful, should have a green check mark
Click Next to proceed
Choose to install using USB cable only and click on Next
The installer should verify/check connection status
If successful, should have a green check mark
Click Next to proceed
Click Finish to complete/exit install prompt
Find and launch the Brady Network Card Configuration Utility short on the desktop.
By default, the BNC Configuration should launch within the General Tab.
Enable the Wireless Connection, if prompted that the Wifi Direct will be Disabled, proceed.
Click on the WiFi Settings tab, choose the Network Name/SSID from the list
and enter the info/password as needed
Click on Connect
Click on the Network tab
If using DHCP, then can leave on DHCP
If using a Static then select Static (IP address is assigned manually) and enter the IP Add,
Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, and DNS Server (if needed) info then click on Apply
Open the Devices and Printer
Click on the Add a Printer on the upper right
Choose the option to Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer and click on Next
Choose, The printer that I want isn’t listed and click on Next
Choose, Add a printer using a TCP/IP… and click Next
Type in the IP address into the Hostname or IP address field
The Port name should show same IP address, please add “ IP_ “ in front of the IP address
Click on Next
Leave the Device Type at, Standard / Generic Network Card
Click on Next
Click on Have Disk
Click on Browse
Browse to the location of the BMP61 driver, double click to enter the folder
Select the BradyBMP61.INF file
Click on Open
Click on OK
Ensure the BMP61 printer is selected
Click on Next
Click on Next
Click on Install
Choose option to share or not share the printer (up to end user)
Click on Next
Choose option to make the BMP61 or not (up to the end user)
Click on Finish to complete/exit install prompt
