AIDS INSTITUTE REPORTING SYSTEM
Directions: Please respond to all questions directly within the body of this document. There are no
page limits for this Attachment.
(1) Please provide a description of how you propose to implement AIRS. If you are currently
using the AIRS system, describe your current implementation strategy.
(2) Detail staff position roles and responsibilities for activities including, but not limited to:
(a) system administration
(b) data entry
(c) quality control
(d) AIDS Institute reporting.
(3) Please provide a description of the physical infrastructure used to implement the system
which includes the following: network vs. stand-alone set-up.
a. If networked, provide a brief description of the network structure, server
specifications, connectivity, number of users and physical sites accessing the system.
b. If stand-alone, please include desktop specifications.
(4) Describe how data will flow from point of service delivery to entry in AIRS. Use of a
flowchart is encouraged.
