Similar Polygons MATHEMATICS 3 CHRISTLE MAE OCHIGUE LESSON FOCUS Similar Polygons have congruent angles and proportional side. Ratios of corresponding sides are equal. KEY VOCABULARY RULES Similar Polygons have the same shape but not necessarily the same size. If two polygons are similar, the corresponding angles are congruent and the corresponding sides are proportional. If two polygons are similar, the ratios of the lengths of corresponding side are equal. The ratio is called the scale factor.
