Public Holidays Act 1993
I, John Eren MP, Acting Minister for Small Business, Innovation and Trade, under section 8 of
the Public Holidays Act 1993, declare –
–
Tuesday 3 November 2015 is not a public holiday in the Hindmarsh Shire localities of
Rainbow, Albacutya, Kenmare, Broughton, Yanac, Netherby, Lorquon, Nhill, Glenlee, Kiata,
Gerang Gerung and Little Desert;
–
Tuesday 13 October 2015 is a public holiday in the Hindmarsh Shire localities of Rainbow,
Albacutya and Kenmare for Rainbow Agriculture and Pastoral Society Show Day;
–
Thursday 15 October 2015 is a public holiday in the Hindmarsh Shire localities of Broughton,
Yanac, Netherby, Lorquon, Nhill, Glenlee, Kiata, Gerang Gerung and Little Desert for Nhill
Agriculture and Pastoral Society Show Day;
–
Tuesday 3 November 2015 is not a public holiday in the Mildura Rural City area westerly
from and including the township of Boinka and south of the Murray Sunset National Park;
–
Wednesday 7 October 2015 is appointed a public holiday in the Mildura Rural City area
westerly from and including the township of Boinka and south of the Murray Sunset National
Park for Pinnaroo Show Day;
–
Tuesday 3 November 2015 is appointed a public holiday in the township of Murtoa and
district in Yarriambiack Shire for Melbourne Cup Day;
–
Tuesday 3 November 2015 is not a public holiday in the townships of Rupanyup and district,
and Warracknabeal and district in Yarriambiack Shire;
–
Wednesday 7 October 2015 is appointed a public holiday in the township of Rupanyup and
district for Rupanyup Show Day;
–
a half-day public holiday is appointed on Thursday 8 October 2015 in the township of
Warracknabeal and district for Warracknabeal Show Day;
–
a half-day public holiday is appointed on Tuesday 3 November 2015 in the township of
Warracknabeal and district for Melbourne Cup Day;
–
Tuesday 3 November 2015 is not a public holiday in the Hepburn Shire localities of Clunes,
Creswick, Smeaton and Newlyn;
–
Friday 13 November 2015 is appointed a public holiday in the Hepburn Shire localities of
Clunes, Creswick, Smeaton and Newlyn for Ballarat Show Day;
–
Tuesday 1 November 2016 is not a public holiday in the Hepburn Shire localities of Clunes,
Creswick, Smeaton and Newlyn; and
–
Friday 11 November 2016 is appointed a public holiday in the Hepburn Shire localities of
Clunes, Creswick, Smeaton and Newlyn for Ballarat Show Day.
The notice published in the Victoria Government Gazette No. S226, dated 11 August 2015, and
published 18 August 2015, is revoked.
