Symmetry properties:
(1) Equal chords are equidistant from the centre.
(2) The perpendicular bisector (OM) of chord (AB) passes through the centre.
(3) The tangents from an external point are equal in length.
Angle properties:

(2) The angle between tangent and radius is a right angle.
(3) The angle at the centre is twice the angle at the circumference.
