Latvia's climate
Latvia's climate is our wealth, because Latvia is located in a
geographical zone, that allow you to enjoy all the 4 seasons:
winter,
spring,
summer
autumn
There are no volcanoes or earthquakes, not a devastating tornado and
floods, not harsh winter and excessive heat and drought.
Latvia's climate depends on the Baltic Sea and the Gulf Coast. Climate
in Latvia is soft and moist, without wide temperature variations.
Latvian climate is mild and humid, with no major fluctuations in
temperature
Cyclones from the Atlantic Ocean brings marine air mass. Warm
period is influenced by formation of cloudy and rainy weather. During the
cold period cyclones make warm winter. Cyclones affecting cloudiness is
great - on average 160-180 cloudy days per year.
The average annual temperature is +5.9 ° C. During the year the
warmest month is July. Coldest months are January and February. So far,
the highest observed temperature in Latvia is +36.0 ° C ( 13. 06. 1994.),
minimum: - 43.2 ° C. (8.02. 1956.)
The richest precipitation months are July and August. The least
precipitation are February and March. Latvia, like the other Baltic states,

SPRING
