Finding the hottest fashions
Even in the crowded fashion e-commerce market, STYLIGHT is making a name for itself as one of the
best places to find great fashions and new trends. Since 2008, STYLIGHT editors have hand-picked the
hottest fashions from more than 100 different websites and brands, bringing shoppers all of the best
products under one roof. At the same time, STYLIGHT members are encouraged to share their voices
by “liking” products or uploaded looks to help shape new trends.
“One of the biggest challenges we face is also one of the biggest opportunities,” says Nicolas Stadtelmeyer,
vice president and head of performance marketing at STYLIGHT. “More and more new and upcoming
e-commerce shops make the concept of shopping across multiple online shops more and more valuable.
On the other hand, this also increases competition for me as a marketer.”
To stand out in a crowded market, STYLIGHT needed to give its marketers the right tools, knowledge,
and data to efficiently do their jobs. The company decided to deploy Adobe Media Optimizer, part of
Adobe Marketing Cloud, to help marketers automate paid search and social digital advertising campaigns.

“Using Adobe Media Optimizer, we have dramatically expanded our paid search campaigns to cover
140 million keywords in 14 countries,” says Stadtelmeyer. Advanced algorithms remove much of the
manual labor involved in campaign management by automatically optimizing campaign spend. As a
result, marketers can manage many more campaigns, no matter how large or complex.
STYLIGHT quickly sees the value in every search or social campaign, as Adobe Media Optimizer
takes real-time data to continuously optimize results. Digital advertising campaigns using Adobe Media
Optimizer often see a conversion lift of 10% to 20%. “As Adobe Media Optimizer collects more data over
time, the results become even more dramatic,” says Stadtelmeyer. “After only a few weeks of using Media
Optimizer for one campaign in the United Kingdom, we saw the cost per click decrease by three to four cents.”
Marketers also use campaign simulations to accurately forecast optimizations. Before making big changes
to the overall scope and direction of a campaign, marketers simulate and analyze the predicted results.
