We will pay for the cost of repairing the breakage of fixtures and fittings by a repairer such as an electrician, plumber, locksmith or
glazier.
The cover only applies if the breakage is life-threatening (e.g.: electrical or structural), or may lead to further damage to your home (such
as a burst geyser).
We will only pay for the call-out fee and first hour of the service, up to a maximum of R2 000 in any insurance period. You are
responsible for any additional charges.

WHAT WE COVER YOU FOR
If your vehicle is immobilised and cannot be driven away, we will pay for the following services to enable you to proceed on your journey.
We will pay up to R500 for any one event:
• jump-start your vehicle or install a replacement battery, but you must pay for the new battery
• change a flat tyre
• open your vehicle if you have locked your keys inside
• provide up to 5 litres of fuel if you have run out
• minor repairs – for example, to the electrical system, immobiliser or coil
• if your vehicle is immobilised as a result of a mechanical or electrical breakdown, we will pay for it to be towed to a place of safety, such
as an approved dealership (if under warranty) or a repair centre
• if you are stranded more than 100 km from your home due to breakdown, and you arrange the towing of your vehicle through the Hollard
call centre on 0860 038 262, we will also pay for:
- overnight accommodation for you and up to 4 passengers
- 24-hour rental of a Group-B vehicle, provided a rental car is available and you are in possession of a valid credit card and driver’s
licence
• if your vehicle is left behind for repairs, we will pay for:
- 24-hour rental of a Group B vehicle, provided a rental car is available and you are in possession of a valid credit card and driver’s
licence; or
- an airline ticket to collect the vehicle after repairs; or
- additional towing costs to tow the vehicle to a place of safety near your home, but only up to the amount of the unused car-rental
costs
• If your vehicle is immobilised and cannot be driven away as a result of an accident, we will pay for it to be towed to a place of safety, up
to an amount of R1 850 per accident.
We will not pay more than R5 000 in any insurance period for the services.
