Aphrodite
• Aphrodite is the goddess of love, desire, and beauty.
• She had a magic girdle that compelled everyone to desire
her.
• She is the daughter of Zeus and Dione.
• Aphrodite is married to Hephaestus.
Hephaestus
• He is the Greek god of blacksmiths, sculptors,
metallurgy, fire and volcanos.
• He is the son of Zeus and Hera
• Hera threw him from Olympus because he was
crippled he landed in the ocean and was raised by
Thetis.
• He was later accepted back into Olympus and was
made craftsman of the gods.
• He is married to Aphrodite.

Apollo taught him how to play the lyre
His music has the ability to charm animals and make the trees dance
Harpies
At first harpies were not always monsters they were once spirits
who represented stormy weather and looked like beautiful
young women with wings. Over time they turned into ugly
beasts. They have Long hair wings and sharp talons made of
metal. The carry evil peoples spirits away to be tortured by
Erinye they would often eat the victim before the soul was
delivered. They stank so bad that whatever they touched gave
off a foul smell.
