Solve a System of Equations Algebraically
Step 1: Set the equations equal to each
other.
Step 2: Move the X’s onto the same side of
the equation and combine like terms.
Step 3: Solve for x.
Step 4: Substitute the x value back into one
of the 2 equations and solve for y.
