IRREGULAR PLURAL FORMS Some words have an irregular plural form, that is, we do not add -s or -es to make the plural forms of these words. Take a look at this dialogue from the lesson. What happened to your forehead? The power went out last night while I was brushing my teeth. Now look at the plural forms of the words night and tooth. SINGULAR PLURAL night tooth nights teeth Notice that we add -s to make the plural form of night. This is a regular plural form. But the plural form of the word tooth is teeth.
