SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS – Use Submittal Requirement Details Handout
1. Each sign type requires specific information which will need to be shown on the site plan or elevation.
In preparing plans, refer to the submittal requirement details applicable to the type of sign being
permitted and provide the information. Please submit one copy of a site plan survey or an
Improvement Location Certificate, ILC. drawings of the proposed the sign and elevations.
2. Show all easements, and setback information on the site plan. Show sign location.
3. If the sign requires a new electrical connection or will use existing connection provide electrical
drawings. If the sign requires a structural foundation, provide engineer stamped drawings. The building
department with review and approve the drawings as part of the sign permit review.
The issuance of a permit, any inspections made or certificate of occupancy issued shall not be construed to be a permit for, or an
approval of, any violation of the International Building Codes, Land Development Code (LDC) or any other code or ordinance
adopted by the City of Arvada.
By signing below I hereby acknowledge that I have read this application and state that all information is correct and agree not to
start this project until this application is approved and the building permit is issued. I also agree to comply with the laws of the State
of Colorado and to the zoning regulations (LDC) and International Building Codes as adopted by the City of Arvada and as applicable.
Any violation of these terms will be cause for immediate revocation of this permit.
