What is Collagen :
Collagen protein is the natural solution for “beautiful skin” and is one of the critical components in maintaining
the elasticity of the skin.
The main structural component of the lower layer of the skin (Dermis) is a protein called collagen. Bundles of
collagen molecules pack together throughout the dermis, accounting for three-fourths of the dry weight of skin.
Collagen is also responsible for the skin´s strength. Collagen is produced by cells called fibroblasts, which are
found scattered throughout the dermis.
Collagen is a connective tissue and is the cement that holds everything together-the primary mortar between the
bricks of all of our smooth muscle tissues such as blood vessels, digestive tract, heart, gallbladder, kidneys and
bladder, to mention just a few. Collagen, along with elastin, is a key structural component of bones, cartilage,
tendons, the skin, lung tissue and blood vessels. Collagen provides structure and firmness to body tissues,
while elastin provides flexibility to those same tissues.
As aging occurs, cellular proteins hook together or change shape. These changes keep the proteins from doing
their jobs properly resulting in a loss of collagen and less firmness to body tissues. This process eventually
leads to wrinkles. Thus, one important target of wrinkle prevention and elimination regimen is to reduce collagen
breakdown and increase its supply.
Everyday skin is exposed to environmental elements such as sunlight and air pollution. These elements cause
free radicals to form in the skin, which attacks the collagen layer. This process prematurely ages and damages
skin, resulting in everything from fine lines and wrinkles to loss of elasticity and hyperpigmentation. This process
is known as photo-aging.
Collagen & Wrinkling :

NATURAL AGING
As any material, collagen is subject to wear and tear: it slowly breaks down over time. Skin cells called
fibroblasts are capable of producing collagen. When needed, fibroblasts replace broken collagen fibers with new
ones. Unfortunately, as we age the skin's ability to replace damaged collagen diminishes and more gaps and
irregularities develop in the collagen mesh. This process eventually leads to wrinkles.

PHTO-AGING
Everyday skin is exposed to environmental elements such as sunlight and air pollution. These elements cause
free radicals to form in the skin, which attacks the collagen layer. This process prematurely ages and damages
skin, resulting in everything from fine lines and wrinkles to loss of elasticity and hyperpigmentation. This process
is known as photo-aging.

Collagen Penettrate into Skin?

Collagen Molecules are Too Large
Unfortunately, collagen molecules are too large to penetrate into the dermis when applied to the surface of
the skin. Thus, when simply applied in a cream, collagen remains locked outside without affecting the skin
structure, at best just temporarily covering wrinkles and helping moisturize the skin.
How to Make Collagen Penetrate into Skin?

Nano Technology
The materials ingredient, which shows an effect, efficacy in the function characteristic cosmetics must be
manufactured to permeate skin deeply through cell gap to, shows an effect, efficacy. The size of
effectiveness ingredient must be the size of Nano as well, in order to pass this gap because the size of skin
cell gap is miniature as 70-180nm. Currently, it is difficult to make the liquid crystal of 1um below with oil in
water formulation method, which uses appropriate emulsifiers. Various emulsifiers are used appropriately
in the most cosmetics. Of course, approximate 1um the liquid crystal is not easy to penetrate into the skin
and needs to the various skin permeation cadence to transfer into deep skin.


Dual Liposome Technology
Today liposomes are an important part of biological, pharmaceutical, and medical research. Because
liposomes are the most effective carriers for the introduction of many different types of agents into cells.
Agents can be entrapped in liposomes without the formation of chemical bonds and sensitive molecules
can be protected within them. Because of their restricted permeability, liposomal preparations offer a
controllable, time-dependent release system.


Negatively ionized atelocollagen
A water-soluble form of collagen used in cosmetics and for culturing cells.
ENB-VCETM; Stimulating your skin to produce more collagen
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is essential for efficient synthesis of collagen. Many of the symptoms of scurvy
(vitamin C deficiency disease) such as bleeding gums, skin hemorrhages and poor wound healing a due to
impaired collagen synthesis. On the other hand, supplying extra vitamin C can accelerate collagen
synthesis especially when other key ingredients are also in abundance. While vitamin C is useful for
rebuilding your skin's collagen and reducing wrinkles, it could be of no benefit or even harmful if used
improperly.


Hyaluronic acid (HA)
HA is a glycosaminoglycan (GAG), which is a substance that attaches to collagen and elastin to form
cartilage. HA not only helps keep the cartilage that cushions joints strong and flexible, but also helps
increase supplies of joint-lubricating synovial fluid.
Hyaluronic acid is present in every tissue of the body, and it performs many important functions. It helps
deliver nutrients to and carry toxins from cells that do not have a blood supply, such as those found in
cartilage; without adequate amounts of HA, the joints will become brittle and deteriorate. Not only does it
keep joints lubricated, but hyaluronic acid also encourages water retention in other bodily tissues. It is found
in large concentrations in the extracellular matrix (ECM), which is the fluid-filled space between cells. HA
locks moisture into the ECM, keeping collagen and elastin moist and promoting a youthful appearance.
