THE SUN –THE HOLY SPIRIT
THE SUN
The Sun is a yellow star set in the Milky Way galaxy, about a third of the way from the center. The
centre of the Milky Way galaxy is a symbol of the throne of the Father, because all the stars orbit around
it. Jesus Christ is seated on the throne of the Father (Revelations 4). In the trinity, the Holy Spirit is
submitted is submitted to the Father. We will show the Sun represents the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit, who is himself wholly God in all respects, is submitted in the Godhead to the Father.
Jesus says “But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all
things.” (John 14:26). But the throne Jesus sits upon is the throne of the Father (Rev. 3:21), so the Holy
Spirit is in obedience to Jesus. The role of the Holy Spirit is to convict the world of guilt in regard to sin
and righteousness and judgment (John 16:8) and among the saints he brings glory to the Son of God
(John 16:14). Just as the physical sun pours forth light.
The Milky Way galaxy is 100,000 light years across. The number 1,000 means “Tribe” and the number
100 means “Flock of God”. So, the Milky Way pictures all the myriads of heavenly angels (symbolized by
stars) that are circling the throne (submitted) to God: “The Tribe of the Flock of God”. The distance of
the Sun to the center of the Milky Way is 26,000 light years. The number 26 means “The Gospel”. The
Sun is a symbol of the Holy Spirit, the person in the Trinity who sheds the light of the gospel of God
abroad in our hearts. But the heavenly drama is not only for the benefit of man. The angels themselves
are keenly interested in the revelation of God through his creation, and watch all the things which God
does upon the earth, especially through the work of God in the hearts of men, turning them from evil to
the good path. As we walk upon this terrestrial ball we look up, see the stars, and marvel at the wonder
of God. In the same way the stars (angels) are looking down at us and marvel at the wonder of God.
The mass of the Sun is 333,000 times the mass of the Earth.2 The number 333 is equal to 3 x 111. The
number 3 means “God” or “Truth” and the number 111 means “Fear of the Lord”. The role of the Holy
Spirit is to guide us into all ‘Truth’ and to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment ‘Fear of
the Lord’. Just as the physical Sun brings warmth and light to the earth, the Holy Spirit sheds the light of
the gospel (the good news of forgiveness of sins) abroad in our hearts. But if you reject Christ, the Sun is
not your friend he is the symbol of the eternal flames of judgment.
At its equator, the Sun rotates every 25 earth days.3 The spiritual meaning of the number 25 is
“Forgiveness of Sins”. The Sun is like a lighthouse spiritually beaming the message of forgiveness of sins
to the Universe. In the same way, God is sending forth his message of forgiveness of sins to the earth by
the Holy Spirit through the testimony of believers. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit without limit. He
came into our dark world to be the ‘Light of the World’. Now the Lord has risen, we are the ‘light of the
world’ and the Holy Spirit shines through us.
At its surface the power of gravity of the Sun is 28 times as great as the power of gravity at the surface
of the earth.4 The spiritual number 28 signifies “Christ In You”. Just as the Holy Spirit indwelled Christ
and revealed to him the words of the Father (John 8:28), the Holy Spirit now dwells in believers and
reveals to us the words of Christ (John 16:13).
The volume of the Sun is 1,303,533 times the volume of the earth. The number 1,303,533 is equal to 99
squared times 133. The number 99 means “Perfect” or “Shekinah Glory” and the number 133 means

“Brotherly Love”. So, the number 1,303,533 means “Perfect Glory is Brotherly Love”. The Bible says
“Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). This was
demonstrated by Christ. Furthermore, “God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit”
(Rom. 5:5). The spiritual numbers of the Sun’s physical dimensions tells us: (1) what the Holy Spirit is
saying in our hearts: glory to Jesus Christ; and (2) how the Holy Spirit is filling us with the same love
Christ had. Just amazing!
