A real number is a value that can be represented as a quantity on a continuous number
line.
Rational
A rational number is any quantity that can be expressed as the ratio of two integers.

Integers
The set of integers contains whole numbers, negative whole numbers and zero.

Whole numbers are nonnegative integers

“counting” numbers set.
