In addition to cutting-edge imaging, the Medical Center offers a full spectrum of radioiodine therapy protocols for the treatment of hyperthyroidism and thyroid cancer. Our nuclear medicine physicians are also experts in the field of radioimmunotherapy for lymphoma. We specialize in the following areas: Advanced Imaging Equipment NYU Langone Medical Center houses some of the most advanced nuclear medicine equipment in the world, including best-of-breed SPECT, SPECT and PET/CT scanners. Cameras are linked by advanced data management systems to allow rapid, accurate reading and digital report generation. Image data is available to referring physicians over a digital network that allows for timely patient management. Nuclear Medicine NYU Langone Medical Center’s Tisch Hospital offers a wide range of nuclear medicine services, specializing in a full complement of non-invasive nuclear imaging techniques designed to diagnose and monitor disease of the neurological, cardiovascular, endocrine, gastrointestinal, pulmonary, genitourinary and hepatobiliary systems.
