Alexandros Kokkas
Dr Kokkas is President of the European Federation of Orthodontic Specialists
Associations (EFOSA). He obtained his Dental Degree from the University of
Thessaloniki, Greece in 1986 and his Certificate in Orthodontics from Loyola
University of Chicago, USA in 1991. He is the President of the Hellenic Professional
Union of Orthodontists since December 2004 and a Member of the Board of the
Greek Orthodontic Society. Dr Kokkas has been an active member of the Council of
HPUO since 1996 in which he served as the Secretary General from 1998 until 2004
and as the Vice President the year 2004. He was elected EFOSA auditor in June 2005.
He is a member of the World Federation of Orthodontists, European Orthodontic
Society and the American Association of Orthodontists.
Dr Kokkas has been in private practice since 1991 in Nea Smirni, Athens, Greece.
