Open up Word.
Save this blank page under your log-in as ____________(last name) Wordle (are you on your log in
number?) On your word document write your name three times with a hyphen between your first and last
name no spaces (first-last) With a text book in your lap, go to each of the text book pages listed to
review the concept. Then create a good summary sentence for each of the big ideas or the vocab
words. Use as many vocabulary words as possible. You are using the text to remind you of the facts, then
you paraphrase what we learned and what you just re-read and rewrite in your own words. NO COPYING
word for word! You are using the text - not just your brain. Review then Write!

For ex. The Sahel is a hot and semi-arid region in Africa between the desert and grasslands.
 Write this – “The 3 water or aquatic biomes are fresh water, marine and wetlands/estuary”
 Skim the information on Ocean Zones on pages 536-537. Pick one of the zones from the marine
ecosystem and write the zone name and a description of it.
 The coniferous forest has many different names. We don’t know which term will be on the
Milestone. So, write the following “coniferous=taiga=boreal=pine”
