Annual herb to 2 ft. tall with woolly, white
stems and leaves
Flower petals are green to brown or pink
to red, tiny flowers grow in a clustered
spike
Opposite narrow leaves are 1-2 in. long
with smooth edges
Stems branched above lower leaves
Reproduces by seed
Spread by roads
Native to Eurasia
