Project Management
• Spearheaded numerous productivity improvement projects for BMI, streamlining data
processing by transforming process from manual to computer based; increased accuracy and
timeliness of data distribution, reducing processing time from 360 hours to 2 hours per quarter.
• Managed software implementation projects for educational training company; conducted onsite training and provided troubleshooting and technical support for key customers nationwide.
• Partnered with IT to create a program that identified and tracked over 2 billion music
performances per quarter on thousands of websites, resulting in a faster, more equitable and
efficient distribution of license fees.
• Conceived, documented and administered Source and Direct Licensing database to track and
distribute royalties based on specific agreements between BMI writers and publishers.
• Created database that organized and archived hundreds of thousands of cue sheets, improving
accuracy of license fees paid by over 300 television stations nationwide.
• Conceived and wrote databases, complete with front ends, which enabled staff to process 250%
more data and handle three times the data with 30% less staff.
Business Development & Contract Negotiations
• Partnered with sales team of training company to develop proposals and conduct sales
presentations to customers (i.e. Citibank, Weyerhaeuser, Tyson Foods).
• Negotiated and reviewed a variety of contracts utilizing business expertise.
• Developed and implemented a nationwide systematic sales proposal format to improve
efficiency of selling broad-based training product line.
• Initiated bids and managed construction contracts for two class A commercial office buildings.
