1. The new theological

the Protestant Reformation was
primarily about salvation by
the grace of God.

Martin Luther’s teachings stated there were
no need for priests because each person
can teach themselves and it was God’s
grace that brought about salvation for
mankind by Jesus’ sacrifice; not the biblical
teachings of the clergy.

rise during the Renaissance by

empires seek exploration allowing for new
trade and domination of new territories.

European patron investments.
