Cheetah is the common name used
for the animal. The scientific name for the
animal is Acinonyx jubatus.

cheetah is an animal that lives in
mostly the continent of Africa. Although
they also can be found in India. The
natural habitat is in the savannah in
Africa.

cheetah is a meat eater. So in other
words it is a carnivore. The cheetah eats
things such as zebras, gazelles, and more.
Its role in the ecosystem is the role of a
top level consumer.


cheetah is the fastest animal on the
planet. It reaches speeds of up to 75
miles per hour. Adults can reach up to 5
feet long and weigh up to 145 lbs. it is a
spotted animal. The animal has a tawny
brown coat with black spots.

cheetah is threatened by habitat loss
and hunting for their spotted pelt. They
are also sometimes killed by farmers
protecting their livestock.

solution to the extinction would be to
stop hunting down the cheetah for their
fur. Also stop habitat destruction. By
doing this it will reduce the risk of
making the cheetah go extinct. This
would stop the endangered species from
going extinct.
