In our topic lessons, we have been learning about Queen Elizabeth II and now, we will be learning
about Henry VIII.

Henry became king when his father died on
21st April 1509. He was 17 years old when he
became king.

children. He has two girls called Mary and
Elizabeth and a son called Edward.

the Church of England so he could marry again!

1491 and was the second son of Henry VII and Elizabeth of
York.
