Here’s what’s changed
If you have more than one account with VALIC, you will receive separate account
statements presented as follows:
Retirement plan
participant, individual
annuity contract owner,
or both, your VALIC
account statement now
includes revisions that
provide clarity and better
organized information.
>> Employer-sponsored plan account
A separate statement for each different employer’s plan.
>> Individual annuity contract account
All accounts combined into one statement.
For example, Kasey has a 403(b) account with her current employer in addition to a
457(b) account with her last employer. Also, Kasey has both a traditional IRA and a
Roth IRA — all with VALIC. Therefore, Kasey receives three statements each quarter:
>> Her current employer’s 403(b) plan account
>> Her previous employer’s 457(b) plan account
>> Her two IRA accounts on one statement
Kasey’s three statements arrive simultaneously because they are packaged in one
convenient envelope.
