The Department of Health and Human Services provides confidential Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse
Services (AODA) for chemically dependent persons and their families.
Services include: evaluation, consultation, diagnosis, referral and treatment.
Persons needing additional structure and support may be referred to hospitals, day or evening
outpatient treatment programs, day treatment and/or halfway houses in the community. Education
and community awareness sessions are an integral part of the programming.
Services include:
• Diagnostic Evaluation/Referral
• Individual and Group Therapy
• Intensive Outpatient
• Dual Disability Treatment
• Intoxicated Driver Program
• Detoxification
Fees are charged for some of these services. Where applicable, such fees are computed according to
state ability to pay guidelines.
