MOBILE DEPOSIT FAQ
1. What is mobile deposit?
Mobile Deposits is a service in which eligible members can transmit an electronic (digital) image of a
paper check using the camera in a mobile device to make a deposit into an eligible Connexus
account.
2. What is required to use Mobile Deposit?

Be registered and enrolled in Online and Mobile Banking
Use a working mobile device with a quality camera
Qualifications:
• A Connexus checking account
• Fewer than 6 non-sufficient funds in the past year
• No delinquent accounts over 60 days
• A Connexus membership
3. How do you access mobile deposit?
Mobile Deposit can only be accessed via the Connexus Mobile App for qualifying members.
The Mobile App is available for free download from the App StoreSM or Google Play Store™.
4. Is there a fee to use Mobile Deposit?
No. There is no fee for using Mobile Deposit. Standard deposit fees do apply. You are responsible
for any and all telephone access fees or Internet service fees that may be assessed by your telephone
and/or Internet service provider.
5. How will members know if they qualify for mobile deposit?
Qualifying members will see the Mobile Deposit widget when they log in to their account through the
Connexus Mobile App.
6. How do you request mobile deposit if you don’t see it through your Mobile App?
Members who do not qualify for mobile deposit will not see it as an option on their mobile app.
To request the service, members can send a secure message within online banking.
7. What is and is not accepted through Mobile Deposit?
Accepted:
• Personal checks
• Cashier’s or official bank checks
• Certified checks
• Federal Reserve Bank checks
• Federal Home Loan Bank checks
• State or local government checks
• U.S. Treasury checks
• Business/payroll checks

Not Accepted:
• Cash, money orders, bonds, or non-negotiable items
• Checks made payable to “Cash”
• Checks that have been altered, post-dated, stale-dated, or are incomplete
• Checks drawn on a foreign financial institution or in a foreign currency
• Checks that do not have a payor signature and/or are not endorsed
• Third-party, starter kit, or traveler’s checks
8. Is there a limit on how much can be deposited?
Yes. We have both a daily and monthly Mobile Deposit limit. The Mobile App will alert members of
their available limit prior to depositing a check.

9. When will my funds be available?
Checks deposited on business days before 4:00 p.m. CT, will be processed the next business day.
Checks received after that point, may take up to 2 business days. Standard check holds apply.
10. Why don’t I see my check post as ‘pending’ in my transaction history of
online banking?
Checks will not posted within online banking until they have been processed; this can take up to
2 business days. To view pending mobile deposits, view the Mobile Deposit widget from the
Mobile App.
