#668 The Churchill Saints of Daniel 7:21 – Churchill’s “House of Many Mansions”
Before we come to further conclusions about the prophetic meaning behind and the Lord’s
viewpoint of the double events of May 10, 1940, let’s first consider the Lord’s viewpoint of
Winston Churchill’s speech of a few months prior, on January 20, 1940, referred to as the
“House of Many Mansions” speech.
Some of history’s greatest figures have
used biblical analogies. Abraham
Lincoln’s “House Divided” speech is an
example. The problem is that their usage
of the biblical analogy usually supplants
the truth for a lie, and/or exchanges what
is meant to be applied to the heavenly
kingdom for that of an earthly kingdom.
The Lord’s “house of many mansions”
is Heaven. When the Lord Jesus Christ
spoke of the Father’s house of many
mansions, he was speaking of heaven.
John 14:1-3 (KJV) Let not your heart
be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 IN MY FATHER’S HOUSE ARE MANY MANSIONS: if it were not so, I would have told
you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that
where I am, there ye may be also.
Churchill’s “house of many mansions” is the idea of
freedom and democracy building heaven on earth. Winston
Churchill’s version of a “house of many mansions,” meant to
invoke images of heaven, alluded to building a heaven on earth
for mankind through governmental systems of democracy.
The “House of Many Mansions” speech was delivered on
January 20, 1940, and was addressing the war situation. Here is
the closing paragraph.
In the bitter and increasingly exacting conflict which lies
before us we are resolved to keep nothing back, and not to be
outstripped by any in service to the common cause. Let the
great cities of Warsaw, of Prague, of Vienna banish despair even in the midst of their agony.
Their liberation is sure. The day will come when the joybells will ring again throughout
Europe, and when victorious nations, masters not only of their foes but of themselves, will
plan and build in justice, in tradition, and in freedom a house of many mansions where
there will be room for all.

Key Understanding: Exchanging earth for heaven. Winston Churchill’s “House of Many
Mansions” speech foolishly borrowed from heaven with the promise of a freedom-created
heaven on earth whose roots are actually from the pit.
Here is #668–Doc 1, which is the entirety of Winston Churchill’s January 20, 1940, “House of
Many Mansions” speech.
