Solubility:
Soluble in aliphatic, aromatic and terpene hydrocarbons, esters, glycol ethers and higher ketones.
Insoluble in lower alcohols.
Compatibility:
Compatible with natural and polymerized oils, medium and long oil alkyds and colophonium modified
maleic resins.
Applications:
Domalkyd 1666 75 D-60 is a low viscosity drying alkyd resin for high quality air drying gloss paints. Due
to the low viscosity and good pigment wetting properties paints have good flow, excellent brushability
and fullness. It is used as a general purpose binder in enamels for wood and metal, for indoor and
outdoor applications.
Addition of Domalkyd 1666 75 D-60 to other medium or long oil resins will improve brushability, leveling
and gloss.
Storage:
Domalkyd 1666 75 D-60 will remain stable for at least 24 months when stored in their original packs in a
dry place at storage temperatures below 25 C.
