SELECTION CRITERIA
Assistant or Associate Professor of Marketing (Position Reference: #BUS1607)
Bond Business School
The Bond Business School is seeking to appoint an Assistant or Associate Professor of
Marketing.
Applicants are required to demonstrate:
• PhD in marketing.
• Excellent research training and skills.
• Established or emerging publication record in marketing.
• Evidence of excellence in teaching Marketing subjects at both undergraduate and
master’s level and an interest in teaching in the specialised areas of internet/social
media marketing and/or marketing strategy.
• Commitment to delivering the highest quality teaching and learning experience for
undergraduate and masters students, and willingness to innovate in teaching methods.
• Willingness to engage in departmental, faculty, and university service as well as
curriculum development.
• High quality interpersonal skills and commitment to teamwork and collegiality.
• Willingness to engage with the broader community, such as industry, professional
associations, and/or schools.
The following attributes are highly regarded:
• Relevant industry experience or connections.
• Knowledge of blended learning and on-line delivery pedagogical tools and strategies.
• Proven ability to teach at postgraduate and executive levels.
