What makes this person a SHERO?
Jane is a tireless, humble volunteer supporting many charity organizations in Mankato.
She has championed the local hospice and palliative care efforts as well as the Mankato
Ballet. She believes in the YWCA mission and lives it. As a working mom she has amazing
energy always putting the needs of others first.
Jane is a professional RN, business partner and GM, mom, wife and tireless volunteer.
She is truly a community treasure making a difference every day.
I am inspired by Jane’s energy and genuine caring personality. Although I wasn’t living in
Mankato at the time, I know as head of the infectious disease center she helped keep
the community calm in the midst of a deadly meningitis outbreak. Her constant
empathy for the affected families and concerned community while caring for her young
family provided the leadership all needed to carry on.
