We should protect it because we live in it. -create laws to protect natural resources --choose good practices: recycle, conserve water and soil, use organic fertilizer not chemical pesticides, limit driving --set industry standards to protect environment CO2, SO2, NO3 gases from smoke stacks Industry Acid Rain Lowers pH and destroys aquatic ecosystems and terrestrial ecosytemstrees and other plants and animals that are sensitive to pH
