KEY PROJECT MESSAGES
Active Every Day is a physical activity programme developed to make it easier for people
affected by cancer to be physically active in Sheffield.
WHAT IS ACTIVE EVERYDAY ALL ABOUT
Active Everyday enables health and social care professionals to support people to choose to
become active and stay active
Active Everyday has trained local physical activity staff to be exercise specialists in cancer
Rehabilitation. With the help of these instructors you help your patients to plan ways to
start or stay active that best suits their individual needs and interests.
Active Everyday targets those who want help to be physically active, and gives local people a
voice to not only improve understanding of physical activity and cancer but potentially
shape future services.
WHO IS THE PROJECT FOR
Any adults over 16 years old affected by cancer
