Location: New York City is located at the southern tip of the state of New
York, where the Hudson River meets the Atlantic Ocean. It is in the
northeastern part of the United States.
Population: 8.36 Million people making NYC the most populated city in the
U.S.A.

Land: The city's total land area is approximately 305 square miles. New
York City is divided into five boroughs. They are Brooklyn, the Bronx,
Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island.

Climate: The city has a humid continental climate. NYC has hot humid
summers and cold winters.

The tallest building in New York City (and the United
States) was The World Trade Center at 1776 feet.
