Introduction
Naphthalene is an compound with formula C10H12.
Its simplest polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon.
Its white crystalline solid.
As its aromatic compound its structure consisted of two Benzene rings.
Its best known as the main integrated of traditional mothballs.
Properties
Uses
Naphthalene is mainly used as a precursor to other chemical
compounds.
The single largest use of Naphthalene is the industrial production of
phthalic anhydride.
In insecticide 1-naphthyl-N-methylcarbamate (carbaryl)
It also used in agrichemicals include naphthoxyacetic acids.

Introduction
Anthracene is an compound with formula C14H10.
Its simplest polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon.
Its component of coal tar.
As its aromatic compound its structure consisted of three Benzene
rings.
Properties
Uses
Anthracene is mainly converted into anthroquuinone.
Anthracene is mainly used as a precursor to other chemical such as
dyes.
Anthracene, a wide band-gap semiconductor is used as a scintillator
for detectors of photons, electrons, and alpha particals.
It also used in wood preservative.
Its one of the three component which are used to produce black
smoke released during a papal conclave
Pyrrole
Introduction
Pyrrole is an compound with formula C4H4NH.
Its heterocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon.
As its aromatic compound its structure consisted of five member
rings.
Its substituted derivatives are also called a pyrroles.
Properties
Uses
Pyrrole is essential in production in many chemicals like
N-metrhylpyrrole and is precursor to N-metrhylpyrrolearboxylic acid .
It also used in making building block of pharmaceutical building.
Also there is claim that pyrrole is used as additive in cigarettes as it is
typically listed as a constituent of tobacco smoke and not as a main
ingredient,
Furan
Introduction
Furan is an compound with formula C4H4O.
Its heterocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon.
Its high volatile liquid solution.
As its aromatic compound its consisted of five Carbone atom and one
oxygen atom .
The class of compound containing such ring are also refer as furans .
Properties
