Research and intervention strategies
in schools and institutions in Bulgaria
(Sliven), Spain (Asturias) and Turkey
(Edirne).
Schedule and Timing


Starting date: December 1st 2015.
(Delayed until February 1st 2016 due to
late funding confirmation).
Deadline: November 30th 2017.
PRIORITIES



Starting point diagnosis: Issues related to
school absenteeism and school early leaving
(sex equity, social deprivation, ethnic
minorities, immigrants, etc.)
Support schools to find out action proposals
and their implementation to tackle early
school leaving.
Enhance professional profile of teachers,
trainers and inspectors to make them main
agents of improvement in this area.

Report problems associated to types and incidence

Foster reflection and intervention proposals once half
the cases have been detected: Design of strategies to
tackle early school leaving and make a decalogue to
decrease immigrants´absenteeism in the participating
countries.
Value the importance of a welcome plan as an
instrument to tacke immigrants´ absenteeism.
Propose co-operation plans between schools and
enterprises. (Vocational Training)
Establish Interadministrative (Regional, Local)
collaboration plans.
Implementation Schedule

The Project will be developed in five steps,
each of them with their own assessment.





Step I: Diagnosys and ellaboration of
instruments, tools and guide (NOW).
Step II: Catalogue of indicators and descriptors,
and definition of intervention procedures.
Step III: Agents´training, application of protocols
and reporting of processes.
Step IV: Picking up of results and materials, and
early assessment of actions.
Step V: Assessment, evaluation and project
dissemination.
