The Gilded Age: A Tale of Today

The "Gilded Age" in American history during the Era from 1865 to 1901,
which saw extreme economic, territorial, industrial, and population
expansion. The second industrial revolution led, on the one hand, to
the concentration of wealth and the rise of the “robber barons" and, on
the other, to a growing labor union movement.
