THE SKELETAL SYSTEM
The skeletal system is made up of your bone’s. All your bone’s
are solid but your heart bone is hollow. Your bone’s help support
you and protect you . When you were born you had over 300
bone’s in your body. As you grow your bone’s start to grow
together so when you are a adult you have 206 bone’s in your
body. The human hand has 27 bone’s and your face has 14. The
longest bone in your body is your femur.[your thigh bone]. It and
is one third of your height the smallest bone in your body is the
stirrup in your ear which is one tenth of an inch. Even though a
giraffes neck is longer then yours it has the same amount of
bone’s. We have 230 moveable and semi-movable joint’s in are
body.
DIGESTIVE SYSTEM
The digestive system is made up of the mouth the
esophagus , the stomach and your intestines. When
you are a grown up your intestines is at least 25 feet
long but grown horse’s is 89 feet long. In all your life
time your digestive system. The job of are digestive
system is to turn the food you eat into something
useful for your body.
RESPIRATORY SYSTEM
The respiratory system is made up of your nose the trachea and
your lung’s. The job of the respiratory system is to help you
breathe. If we didn’t have a respiratory system you would not be
able to breathe. You breathe in 13 pint’s every minute. Frist you
breathe in [about 20 times a minute]. Then it goes though your
nasal passages were it is filtered, heated, moistened were it
goes through the back of the throat . Then your m breathe goes
through a windpipe which takes it the trout . After that it goes
past the vocal cords to the lungs . Then it goes to smaller tubes
that take it to bubbles called aleoli. The air is replaced with
waste . And the journey is done.
CIRCULATORY SYSTEM
The circulatory system is made up of the heart the blood and the
blood vessel’s . The job of the circulatory system is to take food
and oxygen to your cell need’s. It take’s blood to your entire
body. It also takes away waste’s. did you know that about 8
million blood cell’s die ever second and 8 million blood cell’s
are born ever second. Red blood cell’s can live for 4 month’s.
NERVOUS SYSTEM
The nervous system is made up of the brain the spinal cord and
the nerves. With out the nervous system you would not be able
to feel , smell , taste , hear , laugh , smile , think or any thing .
The nervous system send’s message’s to the rest of the body
telling it what to do . It tells you to step and to breath. The
nervous system controls your body.
