Registration Penning electrons from atomic impurities in nonlocal
near-cathode helium plasma
S.Chunakhunova
Defining the component composition of the substance is necessary in many areas of
production: ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy, agro-industry, etc. To date, the main methods
of analysis are mass spectrometry, gas chromatography, spectral analysis and chemical agents,
electron spectroscopy (PES).
Using the theory of Langmuir probes were obtained by the second derivative of the probe
current-voltage characteristics in which the observed spectrum of Penning electron energy
(energy peaks) in a mixture of helium and argon in the pressure range of the main gas
(helium) 18-100 Torr, and an impurity gas (argon) 0.1-1.7 %, as well as a mixture of helium
and krypton at respective pressures of the buffer gas 18 - 50 Torr, and the impurity gas
(Krypton) 0.08 and 0.3 torr.
Thus, in the work we have been further developed and the implementation of the method of
PES. It is shown that taking measurements in a nonlocal negative glow plasma glow discharge
may be a short analysis of gaseous mixtures
