"IN HIS FORM IN THE BEGINNING" PART 8
"THE REVELATION COMES TO THE SEED"
251-3
SARDISEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.7
Now we can see that Jesus Christ is revealing Himself through the ages by His Spirit in
the messengers. They are as Moses was to the children of Israel. As he had the
revelation for his day, so each messenger had God's revelation and ministry for that
day.
Thus when we see that the messengers are in His hand, we see the Lord identifying
Himself with these men and granting them His power. It is not enough that He has
associated Himself with the whole church, which we saw when He was seen standing
amongst the seven golden lamp-stands. Nor is it even enough that we see the five fold
ministry of Ephesians 4 (apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists, pastors). For in each
age the church goes astray, and it is not just the laity but the clergy group--shepherds
are wrong as well as sheep. Then God brings Himself on the scene as the Chief
Shepherd in the ministries of these seven men to lead His people back to the truth and
the abundant power of that truth.
God is in His people--all of His people, for if any man has not the Spirit of Christ he is
none of His. And He is the Word. That would be the Word recognized in the people. But
He has placed a special leadership in these men of His own choosing and through the
determined counsel of His own will. They appear once in each age. It is the same Spirit
in them. What a far cry is this from the heresy of Rome. They have a man of their own
choosing--one after the other--none producing the power of God--none abiding in the
Word of God--each one differing from the one before him and adding what he desires
as though he were God. God is not in it. But He is in His messenger and he who would
have the fullness of God would follow the messenger as the messenger is a follower of
the Lord by His Word.

"He that hath the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars."
Revelation 3:1.
As this same Lord identified Himself with man in the incarnation, He is again identifying
Himself with man by His Spirit within man. "These are mine," saith the Lord. The seven
Spirit-filled messengers are the Lord's. They may be repudiated. They may be
questioned. Indeed, to human minds they may not even seem to qualify--nevertheless,
they are the messengers for their age. God used an Abraham (he lied), He used a
Moses (he rebelled), a Jonah (he disobeyed), a Samson (he sinned), a David (he
murdered). He also used a Joshua, and a Joseph. And those with severe blemishes far
outnumber those whose histories seem to be perfect. ALL WERE, AND ARE HIS. None
dare deny that. He used them by and through the Holy Spirit that He put within them. To
their own Master they stood or fell. And in them all was accomplished the sovereign will
of God. Let external history attempt to refute this, it still stands. The Eternal God still
walks amongst the golden lamp stands and sends His messengers by His Spirit with the
Word to the people of every age.

SMYRNAEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.4
In every age we have exactly the same pattern. That is why the light comes through
some God-given messenger in a certain area, and then from that messenger there
spreads the light through the ministry of others who have been faithfully taught. But of
course all those who go out don't always learn how necessary it is to speak ONLY what
the messenger has spoken. (Remember, Paul warned the people to say only what he
said, I Corinthians 14:37, "If any man think himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him
acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the COMMANDMENTS OF THE
LORD. What? came the Word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?") They
add here, or take away there, and soon the message is no longer pure, and the revival
dies down. How careful we must be to hear ONE voice, for the Spirit has but one voice
which is the voice of God. Paul warned them to say what he said, even as Peter did
likewise. He warned them that EVEN HE (PAUL) could not change one word of what he
had given by revelation. Oh, how important it is to hear the voice of God by way of His
messengers, and then say what has been given them to say to the churches.

If a boy was at the door, and knocked at the door latch, tell the ushers, "I have
a telegram here for Mrs. So-and-so and Mr. So-and-so." He would be a messenger, a
earthly angel.
Your pastor, when he stands here on the platform, ministering the Word of God, he is
God's angel to the church, messenger to the church. Therefore, a pastor should never
leave that Word, but stay straight with the Word, because He's feeding the shepherd's
place, 'cause the--the word "pastor" means "shepherd." Look it up and find out if that
ain't right. A pastor is a shepherd, and the Holy Ghost has made him overseer over a
certain flock to feed them. What with? The Word of God.

You can only serve God as... You can only serve God as you do and--and
believe the servants that God sends. You can only serve God on earth (See?) as God's
servants that's sent on earth by Divine inspiration interprets the Word to you. You
believe that? You want to put down some Scriptures for it? I Corinthians 14:16. Paul
said, "You follow me as I follow Christ." Also, 11:1; Luke 10:16. See what He said, what
Jesus said there: Luke 10:16. Believe we're right close to it here. Let's see what it says
one time here. Luke 10:16, while they're writing the rest of them down. Now, that's I
Corinthians 14:16, also 11:1, and Luke 10:16. Now, let's read. I'm getting to
I CORINTHIANS 14:6

¶ Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I
profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by
prophesying, or by doctrine?
I CORINTHIANS 11:1
1
¶ Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

We find out that when a man comes, sent from God, ordained of God, with
the true THUS SAITH THE LORD, the message and the messenger are one and the
same. Because he is sent to represent THUS SAITH THE LORD, Word by Word, so he
and his message is the same.
67
A denominational man under denominational auspices, he and the church is the
"one." A theologian under theology, made by some denomination, he and his message
are one; church of theology, a theologian. It's correctly.
68
Then when a man comes with THUS SAITH THE LORD, he and the Message is
one. And when Elijah come with THUS SAITH THE LORD, he and his message
became one. Just as Jesus, when He come, He was the Word, Saint John 1. So the
Word of God and the messenger of the age was the selfsame thing, all the time. That's
right.
SPIRITUAL.FOOD.IN.DUE.SEASON_ JEFF.IN V-8 N-7 SUNDAY_ 65-0718E
91
Now, we find out that Elijah could say that because the Message of the hour
and the Word of God... The messenger, the Message--the Message, and the Word, was
exactly the same thing. The prophet, the Word, the Message; messenger, Message,
and Message, was the same. Jesus said, "If I do not the works that's written of Me, then
don't believe Me." That's good. Any man and his message is one.
92
That's why today that they do not believe in doing the works of God, because
they do not accept the Message of God. They don't believe the Message.
93
But those who believe God's hour that we're living in, these things are hidden
Food. Just think, God has so hid It that they look right at It and don't see It.

The only way you'll ever know Jesus Christ is by spiritual revelation, not
by theology and how much you study the Bible. Whether you be Christian Science,
Methodist, Jehovah Witness, or whatever you are; no matter what you are, you'll never
know It by the Word; it's the Spirit of God that reveals Him to you. It's a spiritual
revelation.
THE.STATURE.OF.A.PERFECT.MAN_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-18 SUNDAY_ 62-1014M

The Word is the revelation of Jesus Christ; the Bible said so, Christ being
revealed in His Word. And if He's watched over you, when you transgressed these laws,
He condemns you for it, how much more has He watched over His law that condemns
you? Amen...?... Don't tell me that stuff. I believe in genuine Holy Ghost knowledge.
Holy Ghost knowledge will always punctuate the Word with, "Amen." When you get
these things that seem to contradict themselves in the Bible, you set down and study it,
and prayerfully like that; and the first thing you know, the Holy Spirit begins to move in.
After while you see it ties together, and there you got it. See? That's knowledge.
AN.ABSOLUTE_ PHOENIX.AZ SUNDAY_ 63-0127

What is it? It's, "Upon this rock," upon this Word. That's the One where I get the
revelation. It's from Him Who reveals It. I'm uneducated. I don't try to study, don't try to
know It. I just do as He tells me. Then, when He shows me, I look here, and there It is. I
didn't even see It, and here It is, and It manifests Itself. That's my Absolute. It's kept me
down through these years. Brethren, It's helped me when I had no other way to be
helped.

THE.REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.1
You will recall that I mentioned at the beginning of this message that this Book we are
studying is the actual revelation of Jesus, Himself, in the church and His work in the
future ages. Then I mentioned that it takes the Holy Spirit to give us revelation or we will
fail to get it. Bringing these two thoughts together you will see that it won't take just
ordinary study and thinking to make this Book real. It is going to take the operation of
the Holy Ghost. That means this Book can't be revealed to anyone but a special class of
people. It will take one with prophetic insight. It will require the ability to hear from God.
It will require supernatural instruction, not just a student comparing verse with verse,
though that is good. But a mystery requires the teaching of the Spirit or it never
becomes clear. How we need to hear from God and lay ourselves open and become
yielded to the Spirit to hear and know.
33-3
THE.REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.1
We now come to a conclusion, such conclusion as we have already found in the Word.
As much as we believe in trying to find the oldest and best manuscripts to get the best
record of the Word possible, we will never get the true meaning of it by study and
comparison of Scriptures, sincere as we may be. IT WILL TAKE A REVELATION
FROM GOD TO BRING IT OUT. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT PAUL SAID, "WHICH
THINGS WE ALSO SPEAK, NOT IN WORDS WHICH MAN'S WISDOM TEACHETH,
BUT WHICH THE HOLY GHOST TEACHETH." I Cor. 2:15. The true revelation is God
interpreting His own Word by vindicating what is promised.
ROMANS 10:13
13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
ROMANS 10:14
14
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how
shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without
a preacher?
ROMANS 10:15
15
And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How
beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of
good things!
ROMANS 10:16
16
But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath
believed our report?
ROMANS 10:17
17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
HEBREWS 13:17
17
Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they
watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and
not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
HEAR.YE.HIM_ KLAMATH.FALLS.OR TUESDAY_ 60-0712
E-55 But listen to your pastor, a good God-sent man, a teacher that'll send and tell
you just exactly what to do, because himself is anointed with the Holy Ghost. And watch
him; he will stay right smack with the Word. Exactly what the Word says, he will say
right with It. And God will bless that Word. I don't care where it's at; He will bless it
because He promised He would do it. That's right. He will stay.
HEAR.YE.HIM_ KLAMATH.FALLS.OR TUESDAY_ 60-0712

You stay right on the Word. And that Word is Life. And every time you
receive the Word, you receive Life. Take It into your heart and believe It as your own
possession. Every promise is yours. God gave you a checkbook, when you received the
Holy Ghost with Jesus' Name wrote at the bottom of it, for whatsoever you desire. Are
you afraid to fill it out?
"Ask what you will in My Name, God will give it to you." I like that. Oh, my, stand there
with just unadulterated faith. Ask and believe, and it shall come to pass. That's the way
to do it.

He'll lead you through, and, 'cause he's ordained of God to do so.

But the congregation is to only... They can rejoice, as he is preaching, of
course, or say "amen" when the Word comes forth. But, as far as getting up and giving
a--a messages in tongues and interpretation, while the--the Holy Spirit is working
through the pastor, the Scripture condemns that, and said, "The spirit of the prophet is
subject to the prophet."
The pastor then must call this individual down, and ask them to be reverent and to keep
their place. The pastor must be a man that has got a very humble way about him, but
not too humble but what he could be like the Lord Jesus Christ when He seen wrong
going on in the church, He platted ropes and ran them out of the church. And now the
Church of God is the highest of judgment, and the pastor is the highest order in the
Church. The elder is the highest thing in the apostolic Church, outside of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit brings His Message straight to the elder, and the elder gives It to the
people.
HEAR.YE.HIM_ EDMONTON.ALBERTA WEDNESDAY_ 57-0807

No wonder we don't get nowhere; everybody's wanting to pack the ball.
When a correct football game is going on, they'll pass the ball to their best man. But
today every man, "Bless God, I can take care of myself." And that's the reason we are
torn; we never have a touchdown. Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, Pentecost, and all
together, we are in this great fight of life. We ought to stand behind our pastor, stand
behind our brethren with all that we got within us.
MOSES_ HOUSTON.TX TUESDAY_ 50-0110

And tonight, so many people can believe God. Sure. You believe Christ, you
believe the Holy Ghost, and so forth. But when a man comes to you and tells
something, that's hard to believe. "I don't know whether I can believe you or not, friend."
That's where it's at. See there?
That's the reason God can't... That's the reason your pastor sometimes, when your
pastor comes to you. The reason he can't help you, you've got to have faith in your
pastor. You've got to believe that he's a man of God, sent of God to do these things for
Him.
