IEEE CEC 2015 is a world-class conference that brings together researchers and practitioners in the field of
evolutionary computation and computational intelligence from around the globe. Technical exchanges within
the research community will encompass keynote lectures, regular and special sessions, tutorials, and
competitions, as well as poster presentations. In addition, participants will be treated to a series of social
functions, receptions, and networking events to establish new connections and foster everlasting friendship
among fellow counterparts.
Prospective authors are invited to contribute high-quality papers to IEEE CEC 2015. All papers are to be
submitted electronically through the IEEE CEC 2015 website http://www.cec2015.org.
For IEEE CEC inquiries please contact Conference Chair: Shigeru Obayashi at [email protected]
For Program inquiries please contact Program Chair: Tadahiko Murata at [email protected].
Call for Special Sessions
The IEEE CEC 2015 Program Committee solicits proposals for special sessions within the technical scope of
the Congress. Special sessions, to be organized by internationally recognized experts, aim to bring together
researchers in special focused topics. Papers submitted for special sessions will be peer-reviewed with the
same criteria used for the contributed papers. Proposals should include the session title, a brief description of
the scope and motivation, and biographic and contact information of the organizers. Researchers interested in
organizing special sessions are invited to submit a formal proposal to the Special Session Chair:
Hisao Ishibuchi at [email protected].

Call for Tutorials
IEEE CEC 2015 will also feature pre-Congress tutorials, covering fundamental and advanced evolutionary
computation topics. A tutorial proposal should include title, names and affiliations of presenters, abstract,
outline, intended audience and expected enrollment, and presenter biography. We invite you to submit
proposals to the Tutorial Chair:
Clare Bates Congdon at [email protected].
Call for Competitions
IEEE CEC 2015 will host competitions to stimulate research in evolutionary computation, promote fair
evaluations, and attract many participants. The proposals for competitions should include descriptions of the
problems addressed, motivations and expected impact on evolutionary computation, data description,
evaluation procedures and established baselines, schedules, anticipated number of participants, and a
biography of the main team members. We invite you to submit proposals to the Competitions Chair:
Simon M. Lucas at [email protected].
General inquiries for IEEE CEC 2015 should be sent to the General Chair:
Shigeru Obayashi at [email protected]
