Cheese Project
Cheese is a very important source of protein for humans and is the oldest known way to
process food. The consumption of cheese is approximately 25 pounds per person and
continuing to rise.
As an individual, you will pick out a variety of cheese (given at the end of Chapter 4
lecture), write a 1-page paper, and create a flow chart poster about it. You will need to
know the name of the cheese, any nicknames (if applicable), color, flavor, aroma, origin,
facts, what type or classification it is, and any other details you find. Since every cheese is
different, the poster will be a flow chart of how your cheese is processed. Pictures will need
to be included. All of the information on the poster and additional information will need to
be included in the written report.
The paper should be at least 1-page in length, 12-point font, double-spaced, and Times New
Roman. The whole project will be due Wednesday, October 26th. After completion, you
will present your cheese to the rest of the class.
