50 Ways to Prepare Your Home for Holiday Guests Foyer o Place a handwritten or typed welcome note on the foyer table for your guests to see as they walk in. o Have a special place where guests can place their shoes and coats. o Hang a nice sized mirror in the foyer for guests to check themselves before they exit. o Have a packet or list of local things to do and see on the foyer table. o Keep a bowl or jar full of mints or gum near the front door.
