Preliminary information
Dear colleagues,
The Scientific Council on Problems of Biological Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences
intends to hold the X International Symposium "Biological Motility: New facts and hypotheses" and invites
you to participate in its sessions. The Symposium will take place in Pushchino, Moscow region, May 12–14,
2014. Pushchino is the Centre of Biological Research RAS located on Oka-river in the picturesque place
with the typical Russian landscape (100 km from Moscow to the South).
The official language of the Symposium is English. The scientific program of the Symposium will
provide plenary lectures (up to 30 min.), oral (15 min.) and poster presentations. Preliminary scientific
program includes different aspects of muscle and non-muscle motility. The Abstract Book will be published
before the Symposium. Deadline for sending abstracts is 1 of March 2014.
Registration fee for participants is $50. The fee includes abstract book, coffee breaks and the GetTogether Reception.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
The Symposium will take place in Pushchino, Moscow region. Pushchino City is Center of Biological
Research RAS located on the Oka-river in the picturesque place with the typical Russian landscape (100 km
from Moscow to the South). Organizing Committee plans to meet the participants in Moscow airport. The
participants will live in Hotel "Pushchino". It is 300-350 meters from the Institute of Theoretical and
Experimental Biophysics RAS, where the sessions will be held.
